Thais is the co-host of the Design Live Thrive Summit. Oh, Debbie, I'm so happy to be here again with these beautiful coaches and one more year. I cannot believe it. So what, our fifth summit together? Fifth summit. This is pretty good. That's really amazing. And yes, I am also one of the speakers this summit. I'm talking about all future self and different things. You'll get more to it later on. But I'm excited to talk to everyone here and see what they will bring to the summit. I wanna invite you right now to go register for the summit, designlivethrive.com. We have so many great things for you. The first thing is, for everybody who signs up, they get access to the Design Live Thrive toolkit. And with that VIP ticket upgrade, you will not be sold anything from those coaches either. We really want you to have a genuinely comfortable experience with coaching. So this is a great opportunity for you. Anything else you wanna add, Thais? No, I think this is… I love what you've just said here. And keeping in mind that this is a safe space for you to just come and learn, right? It's such a big deal for us to really show up as professional coaches, teaching you, showing you, allowing you to experience coaching, and then you can make your decision, whatever you want later on. But for now, upgrade the VIP pass for the summit and you, you also have access for a whole year to watch and re-watch the summit talks. All right, Margaret. Would you introduce yourself and tell everybody what you do? Sure. I'm Margaret Meader, and I'm a grief and wellness coach. So I use the power of my presence to sit with people who are in that very hard part of their life when they have lost someone they love. And some of the special tools that I use are Jin Shin Jyutsu, which is a light touch healing technique that… Similar to tapping, that you can use on yourself for self-help, to sit in meditation and breath with Jin Shin Jyutsu, and then have someone experienced, myself, listen to the kinds of things that you're going through and give guidance as to what happens to your body and your mind and your emotions when you're going through grief, and how to find a way forward. Oh, my goodness, this is so needed. And just, I have goosebumps. Experience her presence, right? who doesn't need that when they're in the middle of grief? Margaret, thank you so much for the work that you do because it, it is definitely needed, so welcome. Thank you, Debbie. Thais' turn. Also, I just love even listening to Margaret, you can feel the peace coming through, can't you? you know that what she does is so amazing, and she's definitely the embodiment of the coach that she offers. Thank you so much for being here, Margaret. Thank you, Thais. I would love to hear from Monique. This is your third summit, right? It is. Yes, it is. I'm excited. Amazing. Tell us a little bit more about yourself and your business. My name's Monique, and I am a professional organizer and life coach. So I have taken over 14 years of experience working with women in their homes, and hearing all of those stories that come underneath all the stuff, and worked towards helping women reset their lives in the season that they're in. So it's not just about the stuff. The stuff is, evidence that there's a lot more going on. So really working on, how can you reset the life that you're living now, because it's not the life you were living in 10 years ago or 15 years ago. So that's really what we're focusing on right now, is clearing the clutter, but resetting going forward. Yes. I remember your talk last year, and I just, I remember watching it before the summit. We review all the talks and your talk was so impactful because it, you're right, it's not just about decluttering the house. And I think everyone needs to declutter the house every now and then, but your process really teaches you that the decluttering, it's almost secondary. You need to have the reset, right? It's not just about getting stuff out of your house, but it's resetting your life to this season that you are living right now. And just the process that you teach and, what you talk about in the summit, it is wonderful. It was life-changing, and I remember messaging you and saying, "Oh." I am, I'm donating things that I have never used. And I don't even feel bad because it does not belong in this phase of my life. I, thank you so much for your talk. I, I cannot You're very welcome… for everyone else to hear it. It's really good. I wanna welcome Jennifer. Jennifer, please introduce yourself and tell us who you coach. Hi, I'm Jennifer Flanders, and I'm a life and career coach for psychotherapists. And so I work with therapists who are experiencing difficulty making room for themselves in their own lives. So I help people practice self-sustainability and develop those skills so that they can better take care of themselves. So I wanna put a plug in. We recorded a YouTube episode just a few days ago, I'm not sure when it will be live, but we will link it here as well, with the therapists that are currently working with us. And, we have a beautiful group of therapists that are all coaching, and we talked a lot about the value of coaching either paired with therapy or in addition to therapy or separate from therapy, and when the time was that maybe you would switch from therapy to coaching. There's so much goodness in there, so I'll make sure that I link that below here, too. But Jennifer, we are excited to learn from you for sure, so welcome. Thanks for having me. next, let's hear from Tricia. Tell us a little bit about yourself, your business. hi, everyone. Thank you for having me here. I am Tricia Fox, and I am an entrepreneur and a certified life coach who helps women over 40 want to maybe leave their current position and fulfill their dreams as an entrepreneur. And so I'm using my bold framework. I take them through everything from getting past your fears and believing in yourself and your idea to like owning it, launching, and, learning to design wealth and multiple streams of income. So good. It's really the mindset and entrepreneurship coming together, right? So good. Thank you. Okay, another therapist or former therapist here. Erin, tell us a little bit about yourself and your business. Hi, I'm Erin. I am a retired therapist who specialized in trauma and anxiety and depression. But now I've restarted myself as a mental health coach, and I help professional women silence their critical inner voice and build up their self-love and confidence. Yes. You, when I watched your talk before, I think I was reading a little bit of what you were planning on writing. You, I don't know if I should say this, 'cause I think this is big part of your talk, Erin, but I will. You mentioned the mental habits that we have, and just that little concept, the way you explained that in your talk, my mind was blown. It is so easy for us to see the habits that we have, right? Like the, quote-unquote, bad habits that we have. and I think when… don't know if I should say this example, but I think I will. You mentioned once, it's like, the bad habit of picking your nose? That's not something you do in public, is it? It's okay, that is so easy to see it. But we do have that mental habit that we're saying things, and sometimes it is in public that we are, thinking or saying mean things about yourself. And it's Oh, it's inappropriate. Just like picking your nose. Very inappropriate. So I love how you're explaining this way, 'cause it's not just your negative self-talk. It's like that is a habit, honey, and you can break the cycle. Absolutely. Thank you for saying so. I also- I also listened to Erin's talk and reviewed it, and I can tell you the same thing is true. I listened to that and I was like mind blown over the concept that she is sharing. So this is just a sampling, by the way, of what you can expect at the Design Live Thrive Summit. We have 18 coaches that are gonna be speaking over two days. And, I'm just gonna tell you, every coach is bringing something, a topic, that you never even thought about. You might think you know about business, or you might think you know about grief, but the way these guys coach and what they're gonna teach you will be just like one mind-blowing moment after another. So make sure you save your seat, designlifethrive.com. And since you just said this, the next one that we want to welcome to this podcast is Sherry. And Sherry also has a very interesting way of coaching, and her topic blew my mind, too. Because I had never thought of that, and I've been bugging my husband since I first listened to her talk. Sherry, tell us a little bit about yourself and your business. Hi, I'm Sherry, and I am a personal affairs organization coach. And I work with a lot of people who are overwhelmed with paper, digital, and financial. The theme with mine A lot of times when we're working together, we figure out that their important information is scattered everywhere and, or even just stuck in their own head and don't even realize that somebody else might need the information So the other thing is I work with them to gather that information and create simple systems so that they can manage the information and so that they can share the information for somebody else in case somebody needs to step in and help them out. I have to agree that Thais just mentioned a moment ago that her mind was blown and she was, like, hurrying around to try to figure out how to make sure that her and her husband had things covered. I'm telling you what, after you listen to what she's talking, you are gonna be like, "Oh, no." Because there's two-factor authorization on things. There's fingerprints on things. There is things that you have no idea that you don't have access to that are critical things, and Sherry shined a light on that, and both Thais and I were like, "Whoa." we I thought I had my stuff together. I don't. Yes. Am I prepared, right? So Sherry has talked a lot before about, what would happen if you're unavailable for 30 days. And that unavailable could be, like, if I go to Brazil, where I'm from, to visit my family. There's a part where I would go that they don't have a lot of internet. It would be very choppy. If my husband needed to get in touch with me, he wouldn't be able to get that second two factor authorization, right? He literally would not be able to get it, so guess what? He could not buy on Amazon because it goes, the code goes to me. Simple little things, but they're also the big things, right? The bank statements, the passports. There's so much that Debbie and I, when we start working with Sherry, we're like, "Oof, we might need to hire her to help us here because those things are important and we don't even think about it." So thank you for being at summit and telling us all about it. I have to mention one more thing for, on Sherry's behalf. Your kids have, their own logins on things as well, and that is another piece that Sherry mentioned, and Thais, who has preteen kids, was like,"Oh." another one of those things where they have logins everywhere. Everybody logs into something now, just come and listen to everybody at the summit. But Sherry's gonna be talking about something that I'm sure is gonna have you going, "Oh, I needed to be here for this." I need help. Yes. That's right. Margaret, do you want to share a little bit more about your talk? What can people expect to learn from you? Or maybe share one of your techniques a little bit more so people understand. Sure. My talk is gonna start out with just a little information about how grief shows up in our body. Which was something, a new concept for me when I experienced grief. I really didn't have an understanding of that. And what that means is all of these physical manifestations of grief affect our healing process. And there's not a lot of readily available resources on grief and healing that are just at your fingertips that you can just grab in a moment's notice to get through what I call steadying the waves of grief. but I was able to discover, I was very fortunate that I had a friend who is a mentor teacher in Jin Shin Jyutsu, which is an ancient healing art. And this can be given by a practitioner hands-on or it can, you can give it to yourself as self-help. And so I use a lot of Jin Shin Jyutsu. There's a lot of them are just simple mudras, where you'll just hold certain fingers or just place your hands on what are called safety energy locks on your body to release that energy and harmonize your energy. And so in my talk, I will show how grief shows up in your body, but then I'll also show some really, we'll just do a very simple demonstration of breath and placing our hands in mudras, and learning how to discover what our energy actually feels like when it's moving in our own body. A lot of us have never been taught about how to recognize our own inner energy. And so to me, that's one of the most exciting things is when you can start to, recognize and work with your own inner energy to release stuck emotions and heal Beautiful Thanks for asking. Thais? That's great. I loved your talk too, Margaret. I think it, it is important to find ways to grieve too. Sometimes we think that there's, the five, what they call five stages of grief. stages. There's so much more that we can really do to help your body process all that, the grief, the pain, the sadness. your work is absolutely beautiful. So glad that you were in the summit Thank you … you get to share with everyone. Thank you. Thank you, Okay. So Jennifer, how about you? Tell us a little bit more about your talk. You, I really like how you, your bio said, you might need to remind me, but your bio said something like, "I am the coach that therapists secretly hires." And I think that is such a great distinction and explanation of what you do and how you do. Tell us a little bit more about that and your talk. So thanks for having me. I am introducing some ideas to therapists and other helpers who are listening on how to take a honest look at how much time they're spending resting, recovering, and rejuvenating themselves, which is all part of creating, self-sustainability. And so I'm hoping that this information will be helpful for people, feel a warm hug, an invitation to take care of themselves. And my offering is to provide, something I call the assessment engine take an honest look at what your life feels like in this moment, just a snapshot of the moment in time to look at where you might wanna focus your energy and start making really small changes to improve, being able to fill your own cup. Therapists, I would guess, they are so into giving so much that they might not even realize what does the burnout feel like for themselves, right? It's not even just as a therapist, but often we go home and we are caring for children or partners or family members. We're doing so much caretaking in our non-professional roles as well. And so there's just such a big need to be able to offer ourselves the same level of compassion. Yes. Love that. Thank you. Monique, tell us a little bit more about your approach, because it is so fascinating, honestly, that the stuff is just a symptom of something else that is going on. And as Thais mentioned, just this idea that there are times in our lives when we need certain things and times that we don't. No, I definitely agree with that. We collect. We live a life of collecting. All kinds of things, Just things in our homes, things for ourselves, things for our families, things for our houses. We collect activities and things on our schedule. So this idea of letting things go and only keeping what you need in this season is foreign for a lot of women. We just keep collecting and doing and doing, and I'm here to say you don't have to keep doing what you always did because the life you live in today is different. The life I'm living today is not the same life I was living five years ago, and that's just a short window. And sometimes people are doing what they've done for so many years, and they're wondering,"Why is this not working anymore? I've always done this, but it's not working." And if you're in, midlife and menopause, a lot of things aren't working anymore. So we're just gonna do, a big reset. So I use the RESET method in not just your home, but in how you schedule what you do and how you're living your life. And so just five steps of reflecting on where you are, 'cause you can't make a good decision until like, where you are. You can't do that very well. Eliminate what's unnecessary. Simplify your life, your calendar, your home. Embrace where you are today, as a positive thing, not as a negative thing, but looking forward with hope and excitement of this next season. And then taking action on the things you can take action, and then choosing to thrive in this new season that you're living in. So good. Yes. And again, that whole idea of the reset, I think it really changes the way you see, just this idea of organizing your house, organizing your life from a place of can you just take a little pause here and reset everything that we have, understand where we are, accept where we are, right? From the positive view the way you just said. It's so helpful for so many women. And one more thing. I wanna just pop in here and say, we're not losing anything, we're choosing something new. You're not losing, you're choosing. So I think that is also just a reframe of it's not a loss, it's just a new season. And looking at it with excitement and what's next versus what is gone and not working anymore. Such a silly example, but we just got a bunch of new pans for our cooking, and I was having such a hard time letting go of the old ones because, it's been with me for 20 years. That was a gift from when I got married. Bye-bye.… just to have that perspective of you know what? It's not a loss. It's really not. Let's welcome the beautiful things that are coming into our lives right now. And to give space for this, let's let go of those other things. Not because it's bad, not because it's not useful, but it just doesn't belong into, in this season that you have. Thank you for teaching me that, Monique. All right, Tricia. I wanna call on you next, and I wanna give a bunch of kudos to this woman, because before she shares a little bit about herself, I want you to know that she has done what she is teaching. This isn't fluffy ideas about how to be successful. She has done that in her business. She has done that in her life. she has created a way to have multiple income streams. So none of what she's telling you is anything that's not achievable to you, and she has done all of that while working full-time. So pretty remarkable, and still having some… a child at home. anyway, Tricia, I admire you so much, what you have done, what you have achieved, and what you have accomplished, and I'm so grateful that you're here to teach people, give people a, a dose of what you have. We all want it. Thank you. So my presentation is about fear, and I believe the biggest thing that holds women back from really pursuing their dream is not skills, it's fear. And I share in my presentation that there a stat that says 75% of women have a dream, but only 5% take it. And it's, again, not because they can't or they don't know how, it's because fear creeps up. So they have a big idea, and then, the voices in their head by the next morning talk them out of why they should move forward. And so in my coaching practice, I often say action cures fear. And even though it doesn't always cure it, taking one step at a time really helps I, I say helps you learn to negotiate with fear. And so in my presentation, I give you three steps on how to, really start that fear negotiation, and one of it is, allowing yourself to dream big and very big. We're taught at a young age that you know, not to dream. don't… You're not gonna be a movie star, so have a second option. But I give people freedom to dream big, and then really start making a plan. So write everything down. Write all of your dreams down, and then finally take action. That might be one thing like building a website. As soon as you have that momentum, you have to do something. And it could be just talking about it. Take action in telling your best friend,"This is my dream and this is what I'm going to accomplish." But, my talk is about how to really lean into your fear. It's not your foe. It can be your friend. It can be a trigger to really dream bigger, make plans, and take action. Oh, good. All the things that women talk themselves out of. And, many people have a partner that plays golf, and there's no conversation about the golf. We've had kids that go to summer camp and go play soccer, and there's no conversation about that. But somehow in the middle are so many women who have this idea and their soccer or their golf that they don't do. And they somehow wanna justify, explain it away somehow. So I love that so much that you're encouraging people, to dream and, and to know that they can do that. So thank you. Thank you. Okay, next, Erin, tell us a little bit more about your talk and what you're planning for us in the summit. what we were talking about before. my talk is about anxiety showing up in the lives of women as, self-critical, that inner voice that, talks mean to us. but sometimes it's things that we consider to be part of our personality, like being a perfectionist. It's just part of who we are. So in my talk we're going to discuss how these are actually patterns of thinking that we've developed over the years that have now become habits, and habits that are probably no longer serving us. Even if we don't realize they're limiting us, they are, We often don't know that the habits are limiting us, and our potential of what we can be and do for ourselves. A lot of us get just stuck in the flow of things, and then wonder later on what happened. So in my talk, I will actually give the first three steps of really looking at looking at these negative habits that we've developed, holding onto them, challenging them, and then rephrasing them into something that's more supportive and kind, something more aimed at us taking care of ourselves as a friend instead of just criticizing all the things that we haven't gotten right. I just love everything about this. Sometimes we… And I coach a lot of entrepreneurs where they will see habits, now I call it the mental habits, right? Something that you it's learned. where they might think it is their identity. It's who they are. It's almost like I am such a procrastinator, it's in my DNA, right? You can do a blood test and you can see how the percentage of procrastination in your DNA. And you come in and you're like maybe not. Let's just look at this, and examine it, and see what else can we say to ourselves that might be a little bit more helpful than just you're such a procrastinator and a perfectionist, and there's nothing you can do about it." You're It makes such a big difference when we start talking to ourselves with… instead of all those old voices from the past But that's also a skill, right? Yes. The way that you teach, in the, the summit especially, and I'm sure in your programs and, and your coaching, it is also a skill that of how to speak to yourself. It's not just that affirmation or,"I am good, I am punctual, I know how to do time management really well." It's like, no, but maybe you don't. But here's how you can speak to yourself in a more respectful way so that you create the ability to learn something different. It needs to be real and genuine. It can't just be some affirmation you found somewhere. It needs to be real. It needs to resonate within you. Yes. So that's going to be super fun to learn from you in the summit how to do that. Thank you. Thank you, Erin, so much. All right, Sherry, tell us a little bit more about who should be listening to you. We've, Tyson and I have already shared a lot about what are the things we thought were most interesting, but share a little bit more about how you got into this. How I got into this is I've actually been a professional organizer for 11 and a half years. And over that 11 and a half years, I… The main thing that I come across was people were overwhelmed with paper, the digital, and even financial assets, which I know I'm not going into in this summit, but it is also a big issue. And but with the, the summit, the reason I chose this subject is because people don't realize what they know and the consequences of nobody else being able to know it. And one of my goals is to help people realize this and open their eyes, and I'll give one little tiny hint. I was speaking with a single mom, and she had three kids, and I asked her if she was unavailable, and would somebody be able to pick up her kids at school? And she went, "Oh, yeah, my mom can." And I said, "Does the school know that?" She said, "What do you mean?" I said,"Do they have a permission thing on file that your mom can go there and pick up the kids?" She said, "Well, no, but she's their grandmother." I said, "It doesn't matter." And so she took care of that day. She went up to the school and took care of it because the kids would have been at the school and no one could pick them up. And then, of course, the state would've gotten involved and a whole bunch of other stuff, and people just don't realize this. And they also don't realize whenever they're taking care of their elderly parents. All the stuff that is involved in that. It's unreal. And so that's one of my goals, is to help people to see this. And you don't have to accomplish everything at one time. Just take it one step at a time. You can do it Oh, good, Sherry. Thank you so much. You give me goosebumps, girl. Picking up the kids at school, you're right. It's all the things you just don't think about, like we just take for granted, so thank you. Jennifer, I wanna start with you about your experience in the summit. You've been building your business with us. I'm so grateful for that, 'cause Thais and I both love what you're doing. If you wouldn't mind sharing a little bit about, what it is that we've done with you so that anybody that's listening is "I don't know about this summit thing," or being, being a coach, what's this all about? Thank you. I really have learned so much being a part of the summit and channeling my coaching energy into building a business, building out my business. And now I have a website, and now I have a workflow, and now I, have a social media presence that none of this would have happened without being a part of summit prep and being a part of the business building boutique. And so I really appreciate getting my ducks in order. Is that what people say? Getting my ducks in order, in order to really have a flourishing coaching business. I have to tell you, the brand that you created, Thais and I were both like, "Oh my gosh, it's so cute." The website that you've built you really have done a beautiful job. One of the things that we want our clients to do is really to set up a professional, I call it, I refer to it as the boutique, right? Your, your own sort of brand there out in this online space, and you have done an incredible job of really setting up something that's very welcoming and very vibrant and very professional. honestly, it looks like somebody who is an expert set it up. If you're just listening to this episode, you need to go to YouTube right away and see her face when she received this compliment. It was the cutest. I do need to say one more thing about the business side of, how you are building here, Jennifer, because you are a therapist, right? So you, and you coach therapists. Yes. And it is something that might have a little bit of traction there. Not traction, but, how do I say? Friction. Friction. Maybe something that has a little bit of friction with you and the professional here. And your website demonstrates it so beautifully how you're just with the open arms and you just want, like you said, just hug them and make sure that this is a safe place, and that it's okay that they might not want to tell everybody about what they are doing with you, because we understand that it might be a little bit odd for the therapist to have a coach. And also, the work that you do with them is mind-blowing, right? The way you, you can use your, maybe even the expertise of the, the knowledge of what it is like to be a therapist, and offer them the actual coaching that they need to keep on going with the profession that they have chosen. Your branding is perfect for that. Thank you. I know where they're coming from. And so it comes from a place of love and guidance, because I've had to build my own sustainability and know what that feels like, and have needed a lot of support along the way. So thank you. Awesome. Okay. Next, we would love to hear from Margaret. We would love to hear your experience building, your business with us. Okay. During the summit this year, how is it for you? this has just been a terrific experience, and this is actually my second time around working with you Just, a little bit of background information on how I got here. After going through the profound loss of my son, I went on a journey of discovery, which included, learning about Jin Shin Jyutsu, and mindfulness, and healing, and spirituality. And along that journey, unfortunately other people in my community would experience loss, and they'd be ushered towards me. And I was very happy to sit with them and share my journey, but I felt like I really need some actual skills if people are going to continue coming to me. So at that point, I became trained, in different coaching perspectives that would help me with that. So then I got to a point where I had all this experience and skills, but I didn't know what to do with it. And I found Debbie on her podcast, and, it just, it brought everything together for me in such a meaningful way that I was able to really, with clarity, develop my message and, find what it was that I authentically wanted to provide as all… the culmination of everything. And so I'm just forever grateful for that kind of just centering that she brought to everything that I'm doing, and I just continue to expand from the website with marketing, and I'm really excited about the first summit and where it goes from here. So just all around great coaching. Thank you. Oh my goodness, thank you. What an honor. it is fun. it sounds funny that somebody would come back, and also that somebody would stay, because our goal is to give people wings to fly. But I have to say that, once somebody really understands your business, like we understand our clients' business, and, really make that connection, in so many ways it doesn't make sense to leave just yet. It makes sense to stay because, we can provide feedback so much quicker than starting at ground zero with somebody else, right? We can give immediate direction because we already know what somebody's done. We already know what they've tried. I'm so glad you're here. All right, Monique, how about you? Would you share a little bit, since you are the most experienced here at this summit, I would love for you to talk specifically about the coaching calls. One of the things, as I've already mentioned, that we offer through the Design Life Thrive Summit, so save your seat, designlifethrive.com, save your seat and upgrade for the VIP ticket. I will tell you, Monique, in fall of last year, got a bunch of calls booked, and they were the free complimentary coaching calls. Do you wanna share a little bit about how that all has come together for you, and what the experience was as a coach? one more thing I just wanna say. We actually have a lot of coaches that have never had a call on their calendar ever. And so can you imagine speaking in this summit? This is not Monique, 'cause Monique's been in business for a long time. But can you imagine waking up and then all of a sudden having eight calls booked in the first week after the summit? That is not me exaggerating anything. That is literally what happens because of the credibility that you bring to this summit. So would you share about your sessions that you've had? Thank you, Debbie and Thais for the coaching that you have provided over the last couple years I've been in the community Back to doing the summit the very first time, I had done live speaking events, but to create a whole talk with an outline and the way it, you know, the flow and all of that was really beneficial to me because I could see how it worked. Did the first summit. The second time I did it I was more comfortable. And when you have the opportunity, if you have an opportunity to join Debbie and Thais in this amazing program and do a summit, they help support and give us the tips and the tricks on what we need to do, and how to show up, and how to practice, and the feedback. So that in itself gave me so much more confidence when I went in to speak in the summit, and it's also visibility. They're putting the coaches in front of their audience, and then everybody in the summit is putting… we're promoting the summit to our own audiences, which mix up everybody. It just brings all the people in one big pot, which is good for visibility. Then when you get calls on your calendar that are from people that you have never talked to before, so you know they're not in your ecosystem of people, they're from somewhere else it validates that you know what you're doing.… you are a professional. You have a skill, and somebody wants what you're offering. So I think that's probably the biggest thing is being involved in the summit, is we all, we all start in our own little world and the people who know us. And at the beginning, we know a lot of the names. and the names, But then when it starts to getting bigger and it's names you've never heard of, and they're on your calendar, and you're like, "Oh, I've never heard of her. I've never heard… Okay, I know who she is, but all these people I've never even talked to before." There's a lot of validation and confidence building that really does. There's somebody who actually heard me, and listened to me, and thinks I'm smart, and wants support. So I think getting involved in this community with the ongoing support, but the practice and the, culmination of all that work is, people on your calendar. It's fascinating and it's fantastic. I will tell you, Monique was very popular, and last fall she did get a bunch of calls booked. So she was one of our people that… Actually, really everybody gets calls booked, but Monique got a lot of them. So it is fun, like you said, Monique, to be Where did that person come from? I don't even know that person, and you're so excited, which is exactly how the business should work, for sure that's the real business, right? You don't really have a business until you have people, like real human That you don't know … that you, exactly, you don't know, wanting to talk to because whatever you talk about, your business resonated with them so deeply that they were like, "I need that help." And yes, that is the validation that gave you. So important, Jill, right? We all love talking about the things that we talk about, but it's not until somebody else actually, "I actually want to hear more about it," that's having the real business. Thanks for pointing that out. That's awesome. How about you, Erin? How has this business building side of the summit preparation has helped you? Oh, so much. I needed help with everything from all the technical business building things. So everything from where does my email list live to how do I connect my website to, the workflow that gives people my, whatever it is I'm offering. And it's been a very educational journey in that side. But then a lot of positive support and encouragement has been immeasurable. It's really helped not only make it something that I wanted to do but really didn't know how and then to something that I'm building intentionally and thoughtfully with, marketing in mind, and I don't know anything about marketing, and that's been tremendously helpful, getting my message or as precise as it can be. But just, it's been really, really helpful directing me forward in places that I know I would, if I was on my own, probably flounder, and if I didn't stop, I would at least be slower than what I've been able to do. So I've been highly motivated by the summit coming up and preparing for that. And I'm really excited for that opportunity. Okay. Now, Erin is one of the perfect examples that we can have here of someone who is a professional, that has never been doubt, right? She was… didn't you just come back from overseas where you had to give a presentation Yes … about your business, your coaching business, right? That's correct she is internationally known for what she does. So the, her capacity of coaching has never been in doubt. Debbie and I, we pride ourselves in offering a program where someone can actually come and say, "How do I create my email list?" But not just that, "How does that connect to my calendar?" Which maybe you already know so much about coaching or maybe you know so much about business and you know exactly what it is, and this might sound simple or, a bad question. But let's be real. If you have a coaching business, if you have a online business, I know for a fact that you had that question and you most likely didn't have a, a place to ask. So you're asking on Google, but you didn't know what the question that you should be asking, so then you bought a bunch of different programs, and now you have all these subscriptions that you have no idea what you're doing with. And, and we know that because a lot of clients come to us with that problem. So what you're saying, Erin, I love the example that, yes, you are an amazing professional, and we just need help getting that business out of the ground because we need to have a business to be able to coach more people. That Absolutely the perfect example. And one more thing. When you came to work with us, you had the grit to do your business. You had the grit to get going, and you have no problem asking questions and doing the work, but the summit just gives the little… kick in your boom-boom to get you it gives you a date. You have to be ready. So instead of "Oh, eventually." No, I gotta be ready. I gotta be on. That's where the summit really meets everything, right? You have the desire to build a business. You have the knowledge of what you want to talk about, and the summit just gets it all together, and you have two months to get it all done. Let's get working. Exactly. And you did, you did it. You have it all. Oh, good. Okay, Sherry, we would love to hear, I would love to hear, actually, about your journey through working with us. What do you think the highlights were and, and what has come for you? I have to brag on Sherry before she starts talking and say, when I met her on a consultation call, I was like, "Girl, you're gonna be successful because you have already been in business for over a decade. You've already been at this." and that was like, I don't wanna say in the dark ages, but that was like before computers where we had to go find people, right? Sherry definitely knows how to create a business and how to create revenue. It was just this part of the business that she needed the support with. Actually, yes. I needed the support with how to connect everything online and again, where does my email list live, and how does it connect to this, and where does this go, and how do you do a workflow? Those were tremendously helpful. And the biggest thing for me, I think, was the marketing message. How to actually tell people what I do, since what I do is very unique. And it… Not everybody wants to talk about this because when you mention getting your affairs in order, the first thing that pops in everybody's head is end-of-life preparation, and that's not the only thing that it entails, and that's one of the things, points of my talk. So learning how to tell people what I do, getting the marketing message, figuring out all the social media. My business, like you said, was basically built locally, and so I know how to go out and network in person, but I did not know how to network online, and that has been a huge help. And you and Thais have both been so awesome, and being patient. And for me, the accountability. Knowing that I have somebody to talk to, to go to to ask questions, but also they're holding me accountable every single week. What are you doing? Where's this? Where's that? I can't come in here and just say," This isn't working," because the first thing that Debbie says is, "What have you been doing?" And I'm sitting there going I don't know." And so the accountability helped with me a lot. And getting ready for this summit has definitely been a deadline to meet and get things done. You don't have time to think about it twice and overthink it, which is one of my bad habits. So thank you both very much, and the mindset training that you do is also a big help also we love having you, and yes to all of it, right? It is definitely… It's almost learning a new language. From someone speaks a different language than my, from where I grew up, marketing is another language. Being able, and sometimes it can be quite stressful. The owner, it's the same as learning English or Portuguese or learning marketing can only be done when you're practicing. And it is that, hitting the, "Oh, that didn't work. That person didn't understand. What can I say differently?" It is a new language that we are learning, and you are doing it beautifully, Sherry. thank you very much. sometimes learning how to say one thing 20 different ways until it just finally clicks. Yes. That's right. That's right Okay, Tricia What would you like to share with anybody who is thinking about "Oh, I don't know, I'm on the fence"? We have people that have been listening to this YouTube channel for a long time, and they've been listening to me talk about all the ways I support coaches. you're a really interesting case, as I already said, because you're already successful in your business. And, so when you came, it was really specific to one piece of the business knowledge that you needed to gain, because you already know how to help people build businesses as well. So I'd love to hear your perspective on the coaching support, on the summit, and kind of whatever else you wanna add. I… My biggest thing was when, Debbie and I had our just introductory call, I felt that, she and I had good chemistry, and it was a coach that I would respect and actually hold me accountable. I believe that all good coaches should always have their own coach. Just because you become a coach doesn't mean that you don't have to be coached yourself. And then I've liked, I also in my coaching practice helping women start businesses, I have an option where if you don't even know where to start, I will help you all through the way. If you need some mindset but marketing, that's great. And the same Debbie and I, I think, are, very similar in just our thought process and how we approach things that, it's just been… It's been good for me, kind of confirmation on my thought process and how I help women start businesses, and then also just that accountability. I wanna say that I was an educator, and I've had a, a career in sales. The hardest thing was having to record, myself. I've done many… over the years, many Zoom presentations, very high-level Zoom presentations. But having to actually record it, was the worst thing. And so just that accountability, getting through that, and just, knowing, I need to move forward. And then also when I was going over my fear talk, I'm like, "Wow, I need to take my own advice," right? I have this fear over speaking publicly, right? It was just… It's been… It's just been a great, a great process and, good energy, and I recommend it for anybody wanting, to start a coaching business. Thank you so much. Ladies, I wanna say thank you to all of you for being here. I'm so excited for this summit. Make sure you save your seat, designlivethrive.com. And absolutely you should upgrade, because you could have a coaching session with any one of these ladies, including Thais. So we're excited to host you, excited to have you here. Make sure you grab the Design Life Thrive toolkit ahead of time. Start going through that, dive into it, because there's all kinds of great resources. And it's something, that is So it, it will really pair well with the summit talk, but also be something you can use starting today. So thank you for being here. Yes. Thank you all. Okay, Thais, before we wrap up, there's a couple things I wanna talk about. tell us what we can expect from you. And also, you have worked with me as a client, from the very first summit you have spoke at all. This will be your fifth summit. and you have also created an incredible business on your own. Yes, Debbie, I am so grateful for you. I truly am. And that's why I take so much pride working here with you, right? Because it works. The, this business actually works. And when I first, when I was first your client, I was the little newbie coach who, almost the wannabe "I know what to do my stuff, but I'm not too confident about this." And, I remember crying after you asked me to sell something. And so we created our offer, and I went out to sell, and I came back, I was like,"This was awful." I was crying on a call."This is a terrible experience making me sell something." That's… When I look back to my past self right there, it's like, wow, she was so naive, right? The idea of what it was to build a business. But also, it's almost I want to hug her because she had those big dreams and had no idea how to create anything. And it wasn't until the summit there was you really holding my hand and I was like, "Okay, this is what we're gonna do. The offer is the summit. We're gonna offer the summit to people," right? it's not you, it's the summit. That separation is already amazing because I wasn't as nervous as talking about myself. So that's how I learned how to sell, how I learned how to post on social media, and it was written by you. I wasn't writing anything. I the, the only thing I had to do was post. But guess what? When you're so afraid of posting, that's all you need. You need someone else to give you a graphic and say, "Now you go there and post this." So those little steps is where I really see the before and after of my business. What I really see the the our very first summit was what gave me the confidence to know that I wasn't just this little naive, almost weak coach. I was actually a speaker. I spoke in front of hundreds of people, right? the people watching the replay to this day, there are people watching those replays. It's an amazing experience. So that is what allowed me to feel confident, to look and say, I can have a business. I do have a business, and that's how it feels like this one-day thing that I was able to become more confident. So one thing that we have the two of us have always loved is the science of future self and really creating that version of you who are confident, who are successful, who wants, who knows how to have the business or the family or, the marriage. And, we have always loved the concept, and I really went in depth of studying and organizing researches and really creating my own methodology of what is that? What is the future self? What is that … in the summit, what I'm teaching, it's actually something that I came up with not too long ago, this idea of your future self as a point of reference. Because so many times, and sometimes we have coaches here saying, "I just wanna be like Debbie." They, they want to have your business. that is not enough. How about the version of you who has the things that right now you see Debbie, but it needs to be you? That's the point of reference that we're talking about. And we create that by looking at today what frustrates you. So for coaches starting their coaching business, it's really looking in and seeing what frustrates you. That you don't have clients, that you don't know how to market your business, that you don't know how to speak about what you do. the frustrations you have are information, data for you to create the version that you wanted to become. It's identity, it's behavior, it's mindset, and we do all of those things together. And again, I wouldn't have all of this theories and concepts and education if it wasn't for the business that I got to create with you. Oh, good. Okay, I wanna tie this all together. If you're our coach, I want you to listen. Perk up your ears here and listen to this story. I met with somebody that I hope is gonna be a client last week, and she came to the Fall 2025 Summit. If you're listening to this later, we're a year out from that. And she came on a call with me and wanted to know, what does it take to be a coach? She had no idea. She wasn't certified. She had come to the summit, and then she came to the session for coaches only, and also for anyone who wanted to entertain the idea of being a coach. That session is happening on Wednesday the 9th, where I'm gonna be teaching about what it looks like to build a coaching business. I'll also be teaching a little bit on Thursday, a little bit on Friday. And she came, and she could not get that off of her mind for the last year. It's been there, and she's been trying to figure out what would that look like. So we talked all about what it is that she could coach on, and I don't wanna tell, her story, but she is somebody who's an immigrant in this country. She is somebody who has something very specific for that particular community of women, and I helped her see that. And she was like, "Wow." But what really surprised me was when I was telling her about this summit, she could not believe how amazing the summit was. She said, "Oh, my gosh. It was so incredible." And when I told her that most of those speakers had never talked before, that was their first time to speak, she could not believe it. She said the level of expertise, she could not even imagine how those people had never talked before, and they were up there. She said not one moment did she think anybody sounded nervous. Did anybody seem like they didn't know what they were talking about, and that is absolutely what we deliver for you when you come to this summit. I thought it was such a great example. She was literally so surprised, "You're kidding me. They haven't been talking before then?" I'm like, "No, it's their debut. The summit is their debut." So that is what is available to you. you can create that status, that expert status and expert identity through the process of the summit. So I wanna invite you to save your seat. Attend this summit and watch it through the eyes of a coach who is "What is going on here, and could I be doing that?" Because I'm just telling you, you could. It could be you at the next summit, Thank you so much. Make sure you save your seat. Upgrade to the VIP ticket, designlifethrive.com. Dive into the Design Life Thrive toolkit, and we will see you there, and make sure you save the spot for that coaching session that we're having on Wednesday. Thais and I both will be coaching, so we will see you there. All right, have a beautiful day. Thank you so much, Thais, for being here, too. Thank you so much. Thank you, all. See you later.
